On Wednesday 11th May 2011 was the launch of a group exhibition as part of the Notting Hill Mayfest. It took place at st. John’s just off Portobello Rd.  The Festival will start on the 14 with a series of music events and concerts. There is great professional work from a variety of artists. The exhibition will be on until the 2nd of June.

I have made 3 new original  collectible one off hand drawn illustrations especially for this exhibition which are on sale there. Here is the link to the Festival’s website:  http://mayfest.org.uk/

On Friday the 25th of April there was a launch party of my new exhibition at The Others space in Stoke Newington. The exhibition will be open from 29th April -31st of May. There are limited edition prints, greeting cards, hand made toys and collectible postcards.

I am also participating at the Islington Art fair hosted at the Candid Arts Trust starting this week on the 16th of September. This also the day the Private View is. I am looking forward to that too. The work is in smaller scale than those for the Up Exhibition in Farrington which Are A2 sized. In this one there will be 3 original smaller pieces in 30×40 frames. There will be prints available on order.

This monday the 13th September the Up exhibition is on at the Medcalf in Farringdon. It will be on until November.I will be exhibiting among other artists and there 3 pieces which will be related to each other. This will be a trilogy called The Mechanics of Happiness relative to the exhibition’s theme. It is not always easy to feel happy and these pieces explore alternative or innovative processes of getting there. This come from my imagination and they combine techniques of acrylic paint and pen. Some new large scale work I have created which will be original and framed  hanging on the bar’s walls and there will also be prints available for purchase.I am really looking forward to that and also to posting some pictures soon. As part of the Summer Salon 2010 group exhibition my work has been selected and is exhibited at the Islington Arts Factory in London for a few weeks.
